Alderburn was built at the beginning of the 20th century and has been a family home and bed and breakfast for several years. The self -catering apartment was built last year and the 2003 season was the first year that it was available for guests. Great attention has been paid to detail to create a living space that reflects the beautiful environment and views of this part of the Isle of Skye. Additional en-suite bedroom in the Annexe	The Apartment The self-catering apartment offers a double en-suite studio room suitable for 2 people or 4 (for an additional charge) by utilising the upstairs ensuite bedroom. The Apartment is a spacious purpose-built annexe with its own entrance. The mini-kitchen is fully fitted, and the living area has wide-screen TV, video, CD player and a library of books, games and CDs. Every room has panoramic views of Portree Bay and over to the island of Raasay beyond – you might even spot a sea eagle from the luxury of your armchair
